I cannot say enough about how wonderful this experience was! In a patient, comfortable, and relaxed atmosphere they walked me through all of the steps of building out an appropriate, custom-built frame for my artwork. I can’t say enough about how patient and understanding Lindsay is! She was also very conscientious about our budget and made the whole experience great for a first-timer. We’ve already gotten more work framed by her and all I can say is this, if you want something done beautifully and right, trust this professional. Never again will I waste my time with a chain or big-box store when it comes to framing. It’s an artistic skill that this true professional excels in. Do you really want to trust your artwork to a resentful, part-time employee who just started doing it a week earlier? I think not!

Magazine Street Framing has inspired me to actually open a Yelp account instead of reading everyone else’s review. First – they do amazing work. They matted and framed a large photo for me and really enhanced the original photo. Lindsey had great advice on picking a frame.
Now the best part. It is okay to go in and see what the cheapest options are. They easily beat their competitors and even the big box stores. They understand that everyone has something special to frame and really work with their customers to find an affordable option. How do they do this? Well – the framing is actually part of an art gallery that also needs frames, so costs are reduced while also helping to support a local institution.I will never go anywhere else for framing in New Orleans.

I brought an oil on canvas to be stretched to Lindsey a few weeks ago and I am very impressed with the results. On our initial meeting Lindsey was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable about the stretch/framing process. This is because she is the one doing the framing! What a friendly place. I stopped in for some advice on replacing the glass in an old mirror and to ask a couple of questions. They were so helpful and nice that it threw me off. There is nobody better at framing in the area. I brought in a print a week or two ago and picked up the finished frame today and it is absolutely beautiful.
